im seriously disappointed. i also dunno why lor. it's not like i never lose any competitions b4. i lose so many until cannot count lo. but i just dunno why im so disappointed. ohwell. maybe it's because we worked so damn hard. 3 full days of holidays and 2 full days of saturdays gone okay. im just so sad. sigh.

anyway. if you're bored, you can count how many foofs i used in those paragraphs up there. ohmyfoof. haix. this not counted. only those paragraphs on top =D

but im still super proud of the mission teams. super super super proud. its was damn fun. c'mon everybody let's do the SIGN! *does the sign*

but here are the details of APRC.

bernard's team got champion for the lego boxing secondary category. jeffry's team got second i think. then it was like, RV VS RV. WHO WILL WIN? ( like duh rv will win. LOL )

then the mission. we were given two chances each bot. we managed to hit both bombs to detonate them. but our bots were unable to return to base. shuyinn's team and my team used the same program while junkang's team used their own program. then when we were competing, junkang's team went first, followed by shuyinn's team then my team last. yisheng was there too. gasps. lol. then junkang's bot managed to detonate both bombs, but instead of returning to base, the bot continued tracking the black line, so they got 0 points. anyway they didn't activate the bombs properly. so 0 points ler lor.
then shuyinn's team managed to do both bombs as well, but stopped halfway. couldn't return to base. then the bot couldn't hit the second bomb properly, so the gear was still working. then shuyinn wanted to tell the judge, but SOME GUY went to hit the axle so it hit the touch sensor and so the gear stopped. so any hope also gone. that guy lah. IDIOT. then they also got 0 points. it's like super sad lah.
then it's my team's turn liao. sylvia was the one who started the bot. then the first time we ran the bot, the thingy to hit the bomb went through with the bomb in the middle. so it missed. then the thing got stuck also. so we had to restart. our second try. then when the bot ran, coz the bot was programmed to hit the bomb twice. then the first time it hit the bomb then thingy went through again. but HENG it dint get stuck. then second time it managed to start the bomb. so yeahs. the bot managed to detonated both bombs. then actually our bot can go back to the base de, but coz the base of our bot was too low and the ramp was too steep, so it got stuck and couldn't go up. so sad lor. but at least we got 20 points. but we dint win anyway.

there were two teams from rv doing the sumo category. then one of them resembles a spider with lotsa wheels everywhere so we call it spidey bot. the other bot is like great wall of china sia. so let's call it the wall. spidey bot did quite well until got one round they lost to some car thingy bot. so sad. then the wall arh..i not so sure. so don't talk about it. haha.

that's all the events we took part in. actually my team ( sylvia, meien and i ) was supposed to take part in the archery event but because the rules they provided for us were too vague so we decided not to participate in that event and coz we had sylvia so we were transferred to the open mission.

oh well.

then the prize giving ceremony. they forgot all about us. and they gave the prizes for the lego boxing primary category and completely missed secondary which was us. then we were like so pissed lah. it's like they purposely zhen dui wo men de lor. stupid idiots. then when mr suria went up to complain, they finally announced rv. but guess what, they announced it only when all the schools have left and only left our school and nan hua. fk the organiser lah.

oh yeah. then during the real mission competition when the judges were judging, some schools in the other events started cheering. dunno what they cheer lah. but liang hui told us that it sounded like they were cheering : NA BEH NA BEH NA BEH NA BEH!
so malcolm started cheering NA BEH NA BEH and clapping his hands then quite loud some more. but heng nobody heard except the mission peeps from rv. hahaha. NA BEH NA BEH NA BEH!

anyway i was seriously pissed lor. until now. hahaha. coz i totally umm let it all out. lol. okay tomorrow's EMERGE! and im going to visit audrey with diana too. yays. bb all.

whoohoo.today's APRC and all the 15 teams who went to that competition got into the second round with the exception of 3 teams which gave up. yays.
and im in the open mission thing with meien and some other ppl.
and it was damn dumb.
and ridiculous.
and simply laffable.

firstly we ran into some unsporting ppl who trampled over some pri sch's robo set and tripped over the power socket resulting to a short circuit and the same pri sch did not save the program hence lost the program that they spent their last few hours doing.

this sucks.
worst still, at the play field they go around cutting ppl's Q.

laugh until i got sore throat.

the general rules:
1.the dimensions of the robot must be 30cm by 30cm by 30cm
2.no illegal stuff as in cheats and stuff lah.
3.programmes and construction done in a quarantined area
4.no communications with outsiders during the preparation of
the mission.
5.we're only supposed to use one programme for this mission.
(and we only get to know it like last last min.wdf)
so finally it's the real thing.
during the robot inspection we thought that the robots might exceed the dimensions so the pres was like, "go act cute lah and they will let the bot pass.sure can de lah"
shu yinn went first.
so the robot managed to complete half the mission.
then we got two programs, so shuyinn went to change it to the other program to complete the rest of the mission.
means she touched the bot. or rather, the RCX.
AND the judge was like "disqualified!you're not supposed to be touching the robot!"

and when Sylvia was running our bot and completed half the mission(we did not have the complete programme) she stopped it in the base manually which means physical contact with the bot.
and the same judge was like "disqualified!no contact with the robot!"
and she stopped the stop watch.

and the darn judge rebutted"you never tell me earlier,so disqualified!"
what the fk she wants now lah!
it's like she stopped the stopwatch of hers, even if we want to continue with the mission also cannot rite?
by stopping the stopwatch is as good as implying that she knows that we have ALREADY STOPPED this darn mission.and she still said"you never tell me end mission."
ridiculous lah.
and ending the mission means to off that bot and to off the bot obviously we must do it manually rite?!
if not wad?
wait for Christmas and the batt to run out and exceed the time limit before inferring that THAT shall be and WILL be the end of this mission.

and the unsporting sec school did NOT completely place the debris COMPLETELY into the base and that judge was like smiling and inferring that she has given them the points for that debris.
so they bribed the judge into giving them these points issit?

today is MONDAY.
monday = aprc training from 830-500.
SIAN DIAO LER LOR!

this is what we did :
from 830-1245 we built a model bot and dismantled it and rebuilt it again and again until i think more than ten times so as to FAMILIARISE ourselves with the bot. so that tmr dun needa brainstorm on how to build, can just build this model and then improve on it. so yeah when we first started building and dismantling it was NOT FUN coz we had to keep looking at the complete one coz we dint noe how to build it. after about 3 times of rebuilding we kinda got the hang of it and then it started to become fun. sylvia was in charge of the back part, meien was in charge of the front part, and im all the attachments and extra stuff. then in the end we had to add a few attachments to the front and back so i got more on my workload. sigh. the back coz there was this wheel protruding out and we needed to align it wad. so we had to build this thing to enclose the wheel in a rectangular thingy so as to make it able to align with walls and etc etc etc.
the front coz we had to put in our third motor so we had to build this extra attachment for the gripper. but im not in charge of it. meien's in charge. but i got the resposibility of building the dummy wheels instead. rah. haha but its fun doing bits and pieces. i can take my own sweet time and still finish faster than the other two who's like rushing. hahahaha.

anyway. 1245-130 we had 45 min lunch break. our first and only break. sighhhhhh. we came back early at 115 so whatever lah. we had to continue our bot and DISMANTLE AND REBUILD SOME MORE..

hmm. nothing much.
tomorrow's my competition.. first mission. second mission on wednesday.

omgwth7DAYS. i've been banned from the darned computer for a FUCKING SEVEN DAYS. I mean waddafag?! this is like my MIDYEARS ONLY, for FUCK'S SAKE. I mean hello? even during my PSLE days i wasn't fucking BANNED. What is this damned world coming to?

First thing i've gotta do is to change the font of my profile. Century gothic. And i hate the way it's all aligned to the right. I'll also have to change that. Maybe justify it? or not. hm. Anyway. Listening to Avril Lavigne's girlfriend now, after listening to Cyndi Wang's first album Begin and a christian CD called Shout to the Lord. Kao lah, my parents are like having serious moodswings luhh. I mean PUHLEASE! i'll list out why.
1. Banned from comp for MIDYEARS just because i keep lamenting how im gonna fail my fucking chinese. yeah yeah. WHATEVER.
2. Scolded by dad just coz this conver took place:
dad: wah that is ex.
mom: eh? now u are learning the slang from the younger generation.
d: why should i?
m: coz you're starting to use their words like ex.
d: im not learning from them,

3. Kena scolded in lift by dad AGAIN coz we like walked in, and i approached the buttons. but since i dint noe which storey we parked on, i dint press anything and just turned to face my parents. ( the buttons were in front of me and i was the first person to enter the lift, so my parents were behind me. ) Then i found that my OHSONICE dad staring at me with those eyes. ya noe.. THOSE EYES. then i was like, what? then he was like, you dunno what floor you dunno how to ask issit? are you that dumb?
OHYES mister i AM that dumb. actually, i am SO dumb that i actually got into RV. that's probably the worst choice i've ever made. anyway. i feel damn bloody FUCKINGisulted okay. and OBVIOUSLY not to mention, OFFENDED. i mean lyk duh. on an average basis, how often does your father like call you DUMB? WADDAFUCKINGFAG LAH!

4. They (parents) went out, left me alone. I turned on the stereo to keep Patchy and I company, and they came back. Opened door, first Dad says is : " you deaf issit? turn the thing down! " yesyesyes i am deaf my father. I mean usually he turns the stereo louder than i do! Yeah okay, i'll take the fact that he turns it on on Sunday mornings while i turn it on on May day nights into consideration. But hey, that's not all. After things settle and im out and comfortable and reading the devil wears prada, and my dad's in the comp room strumming his guitar and trying to sing unsuccessfully, my ohsosweet mother asks me to turn off the stereo so that my dad can hear himself sing. WTH LAH. its not like he's deaf rite? after all, that's been proven already. and the bloody stereo is already practically inaudible! and like just now @1030pm while im writing this out on my precious newly-bought sketchbook so i can have something to blog about next week, my dad just came and told me time's up. wdf. im like pouring out HEART&SOUL here!

well. here i am, sneaking some more words in the bedroom. wowee. okay i think that's all the points. and i forgot to tell you all about my good ole' JIE. i hafta sleep now. OKAY PEAPOLES! i am finally back here with no homework and solely for the purpose of telling u the happenings in my life and not to tell u to that i can't blog. CHEERS!

here's the update:
1. Saturday.
yeah well. it was outdoor painting day, so we (mei en + me) went to NAFA like super early @ 820++. We saw patricia there. seems like she's in gan eng seng sia. i dint noe. hmm. okay anyway. NAFA brought us to vivo's skypark. sat there and spent like.. 2 and a 1/2 hrs drawing the sentosa coast. and i spent the time shading mine while meien and patricia drew a few more pieces. i didn't noe i had like so many pencils ( hb, 2b, 3b, 4b, 6b ) in my pencilcase. It's like so super heavy lor! maybe i'll go weigh it tonight..
okays to continue. during the 2 and a 1/2 hrs meien went to the toilet once to enjoy aircon and to ask for SCOTCHTAPE coz the side of meien's sneakers was dropping out. haha.
ENOUGH ABOUT THE PAINTING.
ended at 12. then took MRT to jp for lunch and to try to find Yamaha. ANDANDANDANDAND OMFG. we went to eat at KFC luhh. then coz we were broke mah. lata going ice skating. so we saw this meal which costs 2.95. wah seh so cheap rite? so happy happy go and buy lor. COW. end up it's this rectangular piece of thingy wif chicken sandwiched inside although the wrapping says Fillet-o-fish. yeah so meien and i took pics of it.. if i have time then i post it up for ya all to see. somemore while in KFC came up with this story : once upon a time kristalynn and meien were walking down a street and they saw a rainbow. they followed the rainbow and found a pot of gold. and so, they became rich. yay! after lunch we went searching for Yamaha. couldn't find it.
then took the MRT to JEC to go ice skating woots! yep so we entered and stuff.. then when we went to rent our boots that time, i asked for size 6 coz everytime they gimme size 5 then too small i have to go ask for one size bigger. the guy was like," you come b4 arh? " obviously i was like," ya. " then they gimme liao i wear it was like SUPER TIGHT LAH! i also dunno why sia. so i so DIULIAN have to go and ask for one size bigger which is size 7. then the guy is kaobeh tian wang go say " i thought you say you come before? how come now u want to change shoes? " like in those snobbish voice. then i was like har har. idiot lah he. PMSing.
anyway. meien didnt noe how to skate so i taught her how. and she learned it pretty fast coz im a GOOD TEACHER duh. so she fell yeahs. but at least she didn't go BOOM and the ice cracked. coz...
instead of letting her fall straight, i sorta lowered her down. so it's like no pain at all lor. again, im such a great teacher. hahaha. okay THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART SO LISTEN UP.
while i was holding meien's hand and skating around together, this guy totally skated underneath our hands lah. so it's like our hands are london bridge and he skated underneath. then. HE ALMOST FELL LOL! but meien also almost fell haha. he skated underneath our hands twice and he almost fell TWICE lol! he's so heng lah.
then while meien was resting by the bar and was pei-ing her, he came over and said to us, "just playing only!! sorry arh.. u okay or not?" but mostly aimed at meien coz she lost her balance. but she dint fall. then he said, "im clement. you lei?" (at least i think his name's clement. dint hear really clearly. so let's call him stranger.) then meien was like looking at me. so i said, "sorry, parents said no talking to strangers." then he was like, "aww.. okay. " then we carried on skating luhh. then while the two of us were skating, we saw him holding on to the metal thingy that's supposed to help u to skate. then he was holding on to it, then one of his friends was holding his waist, then another friend was holding the guy holding stranger'swaist. so it's like a train. then stranger was trying to skate but ended up squatting instead luhh. so it was like weird. but funneh. hehe. aiya actually stranger is quite cute dee.. but he got alot of pok lor! so too bad. =D
hmm. what else?
oh yeah. when he gonna leave that time is super funny. coz he was leaving liao, then dunno why, he just came and sorta "hug" meien and i and said, "im leaving liao. wadz ur contact number arh?" hug as in u noe when ure in the middle of two ppl, then u wanna hug them both, so its like one hand around each of their shoulder, then ur hands are like spread wide. but he dint really seriously do that lah. he just did it slightly then put down his hands liao so it's sorta like indicating that he's talking to both of us. then after he ask for our contact number, two of his friends ( guy de, also not shuai ) shouted in unison, " zou le hai FLIRT! "(means, leaving liao still flirt). then it was like seriously funny! so in the end we dint get around to giving contact numbers. hahaha.
then coz someone was holding a birthday party there(earlier on there were bubbles), the three of them walked to the birthday person's table coz it was on the way out and they started singing the birthday song outta nowhere. and they probably dun even noe who the birthday person is. LOL! good role model. haha SOCIAL AWARENESS! then it was like really really funny.
then shortly after that meien and i gtg liao. so we proceeded to the neoprint shop and SO QIAO they were there to luhh! so when i saw stranger, i like took a detour to the arcade to watch ppl play house of the dead. then after watching awhile, got sian coz that stage play so many times b4 liao. so decided to go back into np shop. pretended not to see him by fiddling with my hp. then he saw us wad, so he said(while i was still fiddling with my hp),"hello strangers! can i appear in your neoprint?" then meien was like," cannot! " while i was still fiddling with my hp. =) so yeah in the end dint take wif him.
that's all i guess coz after np we went to the library to look for a book which isn't even out yet.. then went home. haha. then we were chatting about stranger while on the MRT. private and confidential so not telling ya all.
