OKAY :D im lazy to post about bintan. but i shall post about RVCC cycling trek coz it's considerably shorter. ahahah ((:
anyway. i haven't been posting lately coz my internet had been down, and i've been stuffing myself blind with fanfics :DDDDD
alright, here we go:
met syl for breakfast at je at 8, i was supposed to anyway, but i was late and reached there at 8.20, while sm ate his eggtarts and tangyuan happily at home. had the usual mcmuffin ((: and almost wanted to pack my hashbrown. but volcano ask me to faster eat. so i ate it lo :X
then met zhixin and her malaysian cousin at je mrt at 9, and waited for the rest of the ppl to come. then we took the train to buona vista to wait for kwanki. then we took to bedok then took a bus.
upon reaching east coast, we went to rent bikes. this kiosk very good leh! they rent at $5 per hour plus one hour free plus a bottle of water. means like $5 = 2 hours + bottle of water. very good bargain leh leh leh! :DD we rented for 4 hours, $10.
then we just left the kiosk when chengzong came. the ppl who went were: kwanki, joseph, zhixin, her cousin, chengzong, edwin, serming, junkang, lianghui, sylvia, meien, and muah. then we had to wait for him while he rented bikes. then kwanki supposedly went "missing". then after he came back, he, joseph, and zhixin went to get locks and keys for our bikes.
afterwhich we started on our arduous ( here i have inserted a cheem word ) journey to changi village from somewhere in the middle of east coast. ((: oh and meien, zhixin, lianghui, edwin got lost along the way, so while they were trying to find us we were happily resting :D
then we reached changi village ( FINALLY ) and had our lunch in subway. we took bloody 2 hours to reach changi village can! grawrh. & this happened in subway, adapted from serming's blog:
then when the person asked wad kristalynn wanted, she was like stunned. AHHA! then she asked how big 1 foot was. n lianghui was there crapping that he had 2 foot. LOL then she say she wan 1 foot. then we were prompting her for the flavour. then she say "egg" LOL. the person stun also. she meant eight. which was some weird flavour. n then the person was asking which bread she wanted. she stun. then i ask her to take the normal one. then she say ok. the normal one. then the person ask if is italian. then she stun again. i told her say yes. n she did. then laughter!! super ROFLOLMAO LA!!
alright alright. then we ate until 2, then i had to go coz i have MASS CAROLLING! :D so meien, syl, junkang, edwin, chengzong and me went off first. wah seh, the way back is like so much faster can and more fun! :DD halfway through this zigzag path it started to rain, then we were like contemplating whether to continue or to stop and wait for the rain to stop. ended up continuing, then the rain stopped like 5 minutes later. then when we just entered east coast, there was this lion dance procession coz it's tang yuan day or whatever. no wonder serming was stuffing himself fat with tangyuan. hmmm. then later on further inside ecp, i was cycling quite fast. then cycle cycle cycle, then suddenly this stupid fat hairy GIANT bee bashed into the corner of my eye. omfg lah, when it hit me my head like jerked backwards can, with my bike still going damn fast. then in an attempt to like, i dunno what i was doing lah, but after colliding with the bee, i raised my hand to sweep my eye. then my fingers hooked onto my left earring, and it flew off. coz i was wearing like those giant ring earrings. then a few metres later i immediately breaked. then meien and syl caught up while i kept pointing at my earring on the floor with my eyes wide. like stun diao. then syl and meien were like, huh what happened? then i was like, my earring! then i chiong off my bike and ran to pick up my earring. then syl thought she ran over it LOL. then i explained about the stupid fat hairy GIANT bee bashing into my face.
hahah. made edwin and chengzong wait for us ahead. then we reached the kiosk and returned the bikes. before we even exited ecp, it started to rain lah, then we were drenched. then meien reminded my about my umbrella, then TA-DAH, i saved the day again :DD then when we reached the bus stop, edwin and chengzong took 197 to JE interchange.
AND I LOVE GUI MEI EN AND SYLVIA LAM CAN! :DDDDDD they took 55 with me ahahah. coz actually they also can take 197 de, but i needed to chiong back home, then if i took 197 to JE interchange it would like take 1 hr plus. so we took 55 to eunos where we asked this nice lady where the mrt station is LOL. on the way we passed by this dilapidated ( here i insert yet another cheem word ) victorian-like house. it looked super spooky lah, like those haunted houses. and we started talking about those stuff. ahaha and on the bus we camwhored with our unglam and wet selves! ((:
actually got one more, but i accidentally deleted it :X hahaha sorry lah sylvia. then we took the train back, i got off at tiong, meien at commonwealth, and syl at boonlay.
THE END :DD oh yeah. i forgot to mention that we probably cycled like, 15-17 km? ((: ===================== anyway, SUNDAY'S SERVICE WAS DAMN GOOD CAN! :DDDDDDDDD ohmygosh lah. it's like, i never really listen to sermons before. but sunday, or yesterday, i really listened for the first time. and i was super touched. i could feel God's presence in the sanctuary as pastor was preaching. and the agapella singers rock! :DDDD
pastor was talking about this parable that Jesus used in his preachings. i think christians will find it familiar. it's about this father, who had two sons. the younger of the two asked his father for his share of his inheritance, and the father then shared his inheritance equally between the two sons and granted his younger son his request. only a few days after getting his share, the younger son fled to a distant country. he squandered away his whole share on women, pleasure etc etc, like drinks, gambling. then when he was broke, he had nowhere to go. he went back to his father. and when his father saw him, he immediately hugged his son and ordered his servant to bring the best robes, and a pair of sandals for him. and he also put a ring onto his son's finger. that night, he even had the fattened calf slaughtered for a feast to celebrate. when the elder son found out, he was very angry. he confronted his father and asked:
"i have slogged my guts out for you in the fields, and have laboured for you for years. you have never given me a young goat for me and my friends, but yet when your other son returns after squandering away all the money you have given him, you give him your best robes, and slaughters a fattened calf for him."
his father then replied, "because he was once dead, and he has been found again."
or something along those lines. pastor elaborated about it.
the younger son wanted 3 things. #1 Money. he asked his father for his share of inheritance. how would you feel if you were the father? your younger son has just cursed you, and wished for you death, so that he can get his share of the inheritance. the father could have disowned the son, slap him, beat him. but what did the father do? he gave his son what he wanted, although his heart hurt badly.
#2 Freedom. just mere days after receiving his share of the inheritance, he went away, fled to another country. not just another country, but a distant country. what does this prove? it shows that he wated to get as far away from his father as possible, to ensure that he was no longer in his father's control. what if his father suddenly changed his mind? what if his father decided to go after him for the money? he wanted freedom. away from his father.
#3 Pleasure. after fleeing to a distant country, he squandered away all his money on things that provides pleasure. women, drinks, gambling.
then when he was broke, bankrupt, with nothing to his name, he was desperate. those days, people regarded certain things as unclean, and hence, tries their very best to keep away from unclean stuff. the pig was regarded as unclean. when the younger son was desperate, he had to resort to eating with the pigs. the people avoided him, and despised him, because he ate with the unclean, and hence was regarded as unclean as well. there were times when even he had to eat what the pigs didn't eat, the pigs' leftovers.
finally, he decided to return home. just outside his house, he was rehearsing his speech. it was supposed to something like that: i am very sorry father, i spent away all your money, and now i have nothing, and am nothing. i am very sorry father, i have done you wrong. let me be your slave, your servant, father.
he rehearsed and rehearsed. suddenly, he saw this white figure running towards him. he was wondering who it was. slowly, the figure became bigger and clearer. it was his father. the younger son started reciting what he rehearsed, and just as he was about the say the last sentence, he was caught in his father's embrace. his father ordered the best robes reserved for people of extreme importance for him, and also got him a pair of sandals. in those days, people with footwear were important people, people of the family. and also, his father put a ring on his finger, giving him authority and power.
in the bible, the last sentence, "let me be your slave, your servant, father.", was never recorded as the younger son never got to say it. his father embraced and accepted him before he could say it. -------------------------- you see, the father is God. and the younger son, is actually us, God's creation. we have sinned against God, and have drifted away from him.
when we go running back for help, God has never refused us. He loves us very much. the father gave his son his inheritance; God gave us his life. He sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us, to wash our sins away with his blood. He sent his son to die, for us ungrateful ingrates. our God is truly a merciful God. he is a righteous God, a forgiving God, a loving God. -------------------------- tomorrow is the day Jesus Christ was born of virgin mary. tomorrow is CHRISTMAS DAY OHMYGOSHHHHHHHHHH! and i owe so many people presents :X ohman ohman. Just now when my mom was talking to me i didn't wanna reply. so i was like pretending to look after patchy and stuff, until she confronted me.
then i acted as though i lost my voice, like pointing to my throat and making hoarse sounds. then later she was like giving me the o.O look.
then suddenly i felt like zihigh-ing so i started singing the shalalala song. you know.. the one that goes like, shalalalala, shalalala in the morning.. oohhhh.. etc etc. then suddenly i caught my mom staring at me. she said, "Lost your voice hor?" me, "Ehehehehehe.."

HI EVERYBODY :DDDDDDDD I'M BACK FROM BINTAAAAAAAAN BABY! :DDD yes i've got alot of things to say.. but the pictures ain't ready! DDDD: so i'll post when the pictures are up and going! ((: hopefully it'll be soon. but for now... let's make do with this:
okay peapoles :DDDDD let me post about FLL first before moving onto tag replies. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIT. WATCH THIS FIRST!
OMG LAH!
阿沁 and 飞 are 情女！ ========================= FLL! woke up at 5, yes, crazy me woke up at 5. had to meet syl at 6 at clementi station you see. so i met her at 6, saw her sitting on the steps and staring the opposite direction from me. :D
then we went down to mac and whipped out my tissue papers :D hey the mac table was dirty okay. then we rushed to finish the ppts. then we were late to meet the ppl at clementi station, but others were later, E.G RAFFLES AND YISHENG.
then we reached NUS, then serming brought us to the wrong place yeah so whatever. then first up was the technical presentation at 10.15 am, baby! :DDDDDDD it went okay as i said in the post before, except that raffles kept stealing our lines. then the the judges said that we were fantastic, BUT WE DIDN'T WIN ANYTHING ._. then one of them asked me about my macbook skin :DDD ahahah. cute.
then next was run 1 at 11.06. SCREWED BABY, screwed. coz qien took our attachment, so yeah. but not his fault lah, coz it was in the box, then he just took it. then yisheng and qien walked past us after their run while we were waiting outside the research presentation room, and yisheng gave raffles a pep talk. coz raffles was emoing. :X
anyway. after run 1 was our research presentation as u can from the above paragraph about yisheng giving raffles a pep talk. then the woman judge AP, give us poker face. somemore even cut us off to ask us to skip the irrelevant parts. TMD. HUMPH. but in the end we ended it with this sentence: "If we can live an environmentally friendly lifestyle, so can you!" :DDDDDDD
then syl and i can slack le, so went to BK for lunch.

i'm sorry for not updating coz my BLOODY SUCKY internet has been down for, 3 days? and just when i needed it super badly to xfer files to syl. =.=" and only after FLL then it works. woots, fantastic baby. hahaha i keep saying baby today. EHEHEHEHEHEHE.
anyway. i'm very tired. been up since 5 this morning. first time i've ever gotten up so darn early for something related to school :X usually when i wake up this early it's too catch flights to somewhere else. and yisheng had to talk lotsa crap. ahahah. so damn pissed.
#1 was watching hong xin da jiang when my mom nagged me to go bathe. so during one of the commercials i went to chiong. when i came out i found that SOMEONE ELSE had already hogged the damn tv. *ahem ahem MY DAD ahem ahem* which means what? RIGHT. no more hong xin da jiang. FTMD.
#2 actually after i finished bathing i was wearing my clothes, and in my hurry i swept my underwear into a pail of water. so i had to bear with a wet butt. TMD TMD.
#3 pissed off me went to use comp. then found out my phone was missing, went looking for it. remembered that said phone was last sighted on the couch. stomped there, found dad sitting on it. said this, "Daddy, i think you're sitting on my phone." the other end replied, "No, i'm not." went stomping around again, then decided to call my phone using my house phone. woohoo. remembered handphone on silent mode. so pissed off, then went back to the person sitting on couch, and said, "Daddy, i think you're seriously sitting on my phone." the other end replied, "No, i'm not." but proceeded to get up.
