anyway. i am so depressed. the only team who won anything at all in NJRC was shuyinn's and lianghui's team. they got 2nd for their presentation. but i'm like so sad. my team (mainly meien, chenwei and i) put in so much effort for booth. and we had such high expectations. and in the end we dint get anything.

i feel so ****** up.

it's already september peeps. technically, yesterday was september, or the start of it at least.
im blogging before i go off for art class, so it'll be short. i just wanna share wif ya all today's sermon notes. the pastor talked super fast sia, dint catch all. and dint wear specs, so couldnt see what was on the slides. but anyway. here's what i caught:

today's topic was about purity.
-The blessed pure are 100% pure. Only the blessed pure can see God.
Can you see God if you're fairly pure? HEHE no.

Think about it this way: if you can't accept less than 100% pure mineral water, what makes you think God can accept less than 100% pure holy people? Will you drink water that is 98% pure and 2% sewage water? I don't think so.

Anything less than 100% = Not enough.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Inward purity = Pure IN heart.

For example:
whitewashed tombs - on the outside they look clean, white and all, but on the inside they house dead men.
Not that pure eh?

Blessed pure = inwardly pure
Inwardly pure:
- No greed
- No jealousy
- No evil thoughts
- No hypocrisy (sp?)
