Alrighty I have gone to see the solar eclipse.
And wasted 2 hours ++ there ._.

Okay so I met Sylvia at Tiong and we trained all the way to Jurong East and then walked to the Science Centre. Bought bubble tea anyway (giggles)



Found out that we had to get these special glasses thing to protect our eyes from the sun, so we chionged all the way to the entrance. Then at first we couldn't find the counter to collect the sunglasses thing, so I thought we had to buy the stupid thing. I was staring at the cashier there until I heard someone calling name, and I turned, but I couldn't see anyone.

I looked and looked and looked but I couldn't find her, and when I looked down, THERE SHE WAS! (hahahahah juuuuuust joking xD) No lah no lah, Sylvia was calling me 'cos she found the counter already. Found out that the sunglasses were free.

The woman who was giving out suddenly ran out when it was almost our turn, but heng heng she took out a fresh batch heheh. We were queuing when suddenly people just started cutting in front, so brave ole' me just cut in front and choped two pairs :D



The most exciting part was at 5.49pm, so we had a lot of time to waste 'cos it was only about 5 then. So we went MacDonalds' and queued for like 20 minutes to get some snacks. There were like a super lot of people there lah. All kiasu one. Like us xD



Brought the food out and camped on some wooden plank thing. Sat there talking and checking out the sun every once in a while =.= AND AND AND. Soon after, the clouds covered the sun.

So we couldn't see anything, and it was like already 5.44pm! 5 more minutes to the climax lehhhh!



But whew the clouds cleared at like 5.47pm or something like that and we managed to get a little glimpse of what was left after the sun, but nothing climatic about it leh ._.

Oh well, so left and toured Jurong East hahahah :D Anyway had fun although it was sorta a waste of time. The next solar eclipse will be in 2010! According to the bald emcee anywayyyyy.
